After the release of their latest album, Under The Spell Of The Unlight, through Anticulture Records, Gloomy Grim has parted ways with original guitarist Mörgöth. His replacement is axeman occultist, Father Umbra Sol.
The founder of Gloomy Grim has stated the following: " Problems have existed
for a long time. Working with Mörgöth has been difficult day to day, but recently it has become impossible. This decision wasn't easy, but has
absolutely been the right one. It has cleared the air in a very positive way.
This had to be done, otherwise the band would have been dead, finished. We
didn..t come out of this as friends. The reason was not musical
differences or anything like that. To me, Mörgoth is DEAD!"
